Thai visa
Noman Ali Elephant Road, Dhaka
Apart from seeking improved medical care and shopping, Thailand is also an ideal tourist destination. Thailand hosts a number of international seminars/workshops throughout the year. Unfortunately, the client services provided by the Thai Embassy of late has deteriorated to a large extent. The visa seekers are made to stand outside the gate in sun and rain. The visa section appears to be highly understaffed considering the large number of visa seekers. The visa seekers are not properly briefed. Let me cite my instance. My office bearer was told to collect visa at four different times. Each time the office bearer had to spend few hours in uncertainty and each time was told to report at a given new time. There was nobody at the Embassy who could be approached. Ultimately, I had to intervene to collect the visa. During my visit, I found total chaos at the gate. There was no orderly queue. The visa seekers have to wait for hours, often at night only to be told to come at a later date. There is no clear guidance. The Embassy officials should be very clear in providing necessary guidance and not to harass the visa seekers unnecessarily.
