Saarc without India?

I am referring to the letter of Mr. O H Kabir titled 'Saarc without India'. The suggestion made by him sounds good and, maybe, theoretically appropriate. But taking the current geo-politic scenario into account, we cannot say it is 'pragmatic'. India is a big power and bears the ability to bother the other six Saarc countries at a time. I am not telling it can wage war on all six and win. I believe Saarc without India will worsen the problem, as it will be officially an 'anti-Indian' organisation.I think the best solution lies in accepting India as a regional power, which normally Pakistan does not want . The Western European countries and Canada recognised the supremacy of the US and they did not have to pay high prices for that. As a matter of fact, the more we can reduce rivalry among ourselves, the better our lives will be. Reality is never perfect though most of the time we want it to be. "Saarc without India" is not a realistic idea.
