JCD man, BCL activists held by Barisal Rab

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested one JCD and two BCL activists from Jhalakati town Tuesday night for alleged extortion.They are Jhalakati Sadar Upazila JCD President Mizanur Rahman alias Milon Khalifa, 26 and BCL activists Zakir Hussein alias Sumon Khalifa and his brother Shafiqur Rahman Kutty, 24. RAB brought the three to its Barisal camp for interrogations. Capt Iftikhar, Commander of Barisal RAB, said there are many allegations of terrorist activities and toll collection against them. They will be handed over to police after primary interrogation, he said.
