Defending champions BJMC made a flying start in the Pepsi 17th National Handball Women's Championship when they handed Rangpur a 17-3 defeat in the opening match at the Dampara Police Lines ground in Chittagong yesterday.The winners dominated the first half 7-2. In the day's other matches, Rajshahi defeated Rangpur 15-7, Madaripur edged past Panchagar 15-11, Ansars crashed Dhaka 19-2 and beat Narail 19-2, Narail beat Chittagong 15-13, Madaripur beat Dinajpur 17-8 and Chittagong beat Dhaka 10-6.
