The processionists chanted various slogans against the government and paraded the campus streets.

The procession was followed by a meeting which was presided over by unit president Ibrahim Hossain.

Among others, Chhatra League Joint Secretary Tapos Kumar, its central committee member Gazi Mojammel Haque, Rashidul Islam, Zahid Ali and Golam Kawser addressed the meeting.

Rajshahi city unit of the organisation also brought out another procession in the city.

The procession was jointly led by the unit general secretary Zedu Sarker and the university unit president Ibrahim Hossain. A meeting was held at zero point which was addressed, among others, by student leaders Zahid Ali, Ajgar Ali, Jufikar, Akkas babu , Mintu, Faruk Ahmed, Shobhan and Sumon.

Speakers asked the BCL leaders and workers to prepare for a mass movement to dislodge the government.

They demanded immediate arrest and exemplary punishment to Nabi Hossain's killers.
