Rokon wins Lancer Cup Golf crown

Redwan Bin Rokon won the men's title and CD Hwang captured the ladies' crown of the Lancer Cup Golf Tournament, one the premier events on the local golfing circuit sponsored by Rangs Goup, at the Kurmitola Golf Club yesterday. Chief of Army Staff and Kurmitola Golf Club president Lt Gen Hasan Mashhud Chowdhury inaugurated the two-day competition on Thursday. A total of 389 golfers including 27 lady players took part. On the final day prizes were given away at the Hotel Sonargaon. A large number of participants including diplomats, high civil and military officials with their spouses attended the ceremony. Amanullah Chowdhury, vice-chairman, Rangs Group and Romo Rouf Chowdhury, managing director, Rangs Limited also attended the function. OTHER WINNERS
