Reza Kibria, son of former finance minister Shah AMS Kibria, yesterday reiterated his pledge to carry on the nonpolitical and nonviolent movement demanding trial of those responsible for his father's killing."I will be able to get justice for my father's killing if the people continue to extend their support for this to our family," he said, exchanging views with the leaders of Central Jubo Sangram Parishad, a platform of different political youth organisations, at Kibria's Dhanmondi residence. "I will stay in the country until the real culprits behind my father's killing are brought to justice," Reza said, adding, "The list of such killings should not be allowed to be lengthened farther in the interest of the country." "She (the prime minister) has no need to come to our residence for showing sympathy on my father's killing. Rather I along with my family will go to give her thanks when her government does justice to my father's killing," he said. "It is very natural that different political parties will have ideological differences, but it does not mean leaders of other political parties should be killed," Reza said. Leaders of Jubo Sangram Parishad comprising Bangladesh Awami Jubo League, Bangladesh Jubo Maitri, Jubo Gono Forum, Jatiya Jubo Oikya, Bangladesh Jubo Mahila League and Jatiya Jubo Jote expressed their solidarity with Kibria's family who are now in movement demanding the trial of Kibria's killers. Jahangir Kabir Nanok, Mirza Azam MP, Nazmul Haque Pradhan, advocate Ruhul Amin, advocate Aktarul Islam, Shafiqul Islam Babul, Rukonuzzaman Rukon and other Jubo Sangram Parishad leaders were present in the meeting.
