1,690 more held, 23 arms seized

Police arrested 1,690 people, including nine identified criminals, on various charges from different parts of the country in the last 24 hours till 6.00am yesterday.During the period, the law enforcers recovered 23 firearms, another one weapon and 129 bullets and filed seven cases against 11 people under Arms Act, says a police headquarters press release.
