Six students of Khulna University (KU) have been expelled for one year and prohibited from entering the campus during the period on charges of abduction and ragging.

All the six are second year students of agro-technology department.

They are Shahwez alias Shufal, Shahidur Rahman, Mahmud Al Parvez, Talha Jubair Mashrur, Shabbir Ahmed and Shahnewaz Alam Talukder.

The victims lodged a written complaint with the vice-chancellor on January 8.
