JS Reserved Seats
EC asks for nominations by Dec 28

The Election Commission (EC) has asked the political parties and alliance concerned to send the names of their candidates by December 28 for election to the women's reserved seats in the Jatiya Sangsad (JS).However, a meeting regarding the election will be held at the commission today, EC sources said yesterday. According to clause 3 (subclause7) of the JS (Women's Reserved Seats) Election Law-2004, the political parties and alliance will have to send their lists for the election within 15 working days after the law comes into force.
