'Top' criminal held by Rab

Rab on Thursday arrested a 'top' criminal from his home at Chaltebaria village in Debhata upazila. The criminal is Nur Muhammad Khokon, son of Tasimuddin Sardar of Chaltebaria village. He was engaged in crimes in shrimp cultivated areas in Assassuni, Debhata and Kaligonj upazilas. He was wanted in several cases in Assassani, Debhata and Kaligonj thanas including extortion, snatching and robbery. Hundreds of people heaved a sigh of relief after hearing the news of the criminal's arrest.
