Sources said Khorshed Alam, son of Jalal Driver, was shifted to Chittagong Medical College Hospital with chest pain in the morning.

He died at the hospital at around 8:00am.

Khorshed Alam, an under-trial accused in a criminal case, had been in the jail custody since he was arrested early this year.
