Arrest warrant against Ershad Shikder?

A PDB (Power Development Board) court here has issued a warrant of arrest against a dreaded criminal who was hanged to death two months back.Hanged Ershad Shikder was asked to appear before the court in a case filed against him in 1999 on charge of non- payment of outstanding bills. The arrest warrant signed by magistrate Dewan Mohammod Abdus Samad was issued by the court on July 10. The officer-in-charge (OC) of Khulna thana received it on July 11. On contact, the assistant commissioner (AC) of Kotwali zone of Khulna Metropolitan Police (KMP) Anis told this correspondent that a death certificate of Ershad Shikder would solve the problem and dismiss the case.
