MSC test for U-17s today

The Bangladesh Under-17 football team will take on Dhaka giants Mohammedan Sporting Club in a practice match today at the Shaheed Mustafa Kamal Stadium in Kamalapur.Under coach Shahidur Rahman Shantoo, the youngsters are preparing for the Asian Football Con-federation (AFC) Under-17 Cham-pionship to be held in Japan next September. For Mohammedan, it will be chance to test their combination for the upcoming Nitol-Tata National Football League. The match holds special significance for Shantoo and his boys after the coach's open challenge to senior selections last month. The U-17s are expected to fly for Thailand on July 20 to play four practice matches against local outfits.
