Wall collapse kills boy, injures 2 others

A 6-year-old boy died and two other children were injured in a wall collapse during yesterday's storm at North Badda in the capital. The three were playing near Hossain Market at about 5:00pm when the boundary wall of an empty plot cracked on them during the afternoon shower, a witness said. A CNG three-wheeler driver Mohammad Jalal rushed Robin, 6, and two unidentified children to a local clinic. Robin, who was seriously injured, was shifted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where he died minutes later, sources said. The injured were undergoing treatment at Upasam Hospital in Badda.
