Attack On Azad
CPB demands Saidee's arrest

Communist Party of Bangladesh (CPB) has demanded immediate arrest and intensive interrogation of Delwar Hossain Saidee, the ruling Jamaat-e-Islami law maker, in the light of statement made by Humayun Azad on the eve of his departure to Bangkok.

CPB made the demand at a presidium meeting at its Paltan office yesterday. Presided over by CPB president Monjurul Ahsan Khan, the meeting also demanded ouster of the razakars (the anti-liberation elements) from all spheres of the government and the bureaucracy, the prosecution of war criminals, ban on communal politics, and obliteration of the fundamentalist network in the country.
