Bangabandhu National Stadium (BNS)

This multipurpose venue is considered the home of sporting activities of the country. This ground, which is at the centre of the city's commercial heart, has the distinction of holding more than 50 one-day international matches. The floodlights here are one of the best in the world.

Capacity: 35,000

Fatullah Cricket Stadium (FCS)

An exclusive cricket stadium. Cricket of international standard makes its debut here during the competition although domestic matches have been regularly held here over the last couple of years.

Capacity: 25,000

Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protisthan (BKSP)

Located on the outskirts of the capital, this picturesque venue is owned by Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protisthan or Bangladesh sports institute in Savar. Although it doesn't have a spectators' stand, anyone would like to watch cricket from the bank of an adjacent lake. It takes 50 minutes to get there by road.

Capacity: Can accommodate around 3000 spectators.

Khulna Divisional Stadium (KDS)

Although the foundation of this arena was laid long time before, it was only finished recently with this World Cup in mind. Many say it is a future Test ground. Just three kilometres from the city centre.

Capacity: 18,000

MA Aziz Stadium, Chittagong (MAAS)

The country's second Test venue and according to many it has the best sporting pitches in the country. It is a relatively small homely ground with scenic settings. Although it is at the centre of the country's second largest city, but the atmosphere around the arena it is amazingly tranquil.

Capacity: 20,000

Chittagong Divisional Stadium (CDS)

It a new venue located in the Pahartali suburb of the country's commercial capital. The ICC U/19 Cricket World Cup will also mark the inauguration of the stadium and will be used only for cricket in future.

Capacity: 18,000

Rajshahi Divisional Stadium (RDS)

This good-looking stadium has been developed mainly for cricket. Just outside the city centre.

Capacity: 17,000

Bogra District Stadium (BDS)

The formerly district stadium has recently been transformed into an international standard venue and renamed as Shaheed Chandu Stadium, who was a valiant freedom fighter. With all the facilities available here, it has a media centre which can accommodate two hundred journalists.
