Distribution of JU admission test forms begins today

The Jahangirnagar University (JU) begins the distribution of admission test forms for first year honours classes under 2003-04 academic session today.Priced at Tk 250, the forms will be available at the JU, Farmgate and National Museum branches of Agrani bank until February 26. The admission tests under four faculties will be held from March 13 to 23 and the results will be published on April 17. Students with science background seeking admission to arts (Kha unit) and social science (GA unit) faculties must have a total GPA of six in the SSC and HSC examinations together while the students with arts and commerce backgrounds must have a total GPA of 5.5. Candidates having a total GPA of six are eligible for admission to the science faculty. Students who appeared in the SSC and HSC examinations in traditional system must have two second classes to qualify for the admission tests.
