2 candidates withdraw from race

Two candidates yesterday withdrew their candidatures for Kushtia-1 (Daulatpur) by-polls.Sahir Uddin of the Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (JSD)-Inu and Abdul Khalek of the Freedom Party withdrew their nomination papers on the last day for withdrawal. Twelve candidates submitted nomination papers for the by-polls scheduled for February 24.
