CU urged to cancel fees for verification of certificates

Progressive Student Alliance (PSA) of Chittagong University (CU) unit yesterday submitted a memorandum to the syndicate demanding immediate cancellation of fees charged for verification of certificates and mark sheets of the graduates. The PSA, a platform of three left-leaning student organisations, earlier collected about 5,000 signatures from the students in favour of their demand. Samajtantrik Chhatra Front President Monjurul Haque Monzu and Bangladesh Chhatra Union President Ahsanul Haque Nipun were present on the occasion.
