12-year-old raped in Shaympur

A 12-year-old child was raped at Dholaipar in Shyampur Wednesday night. The victim, a domestic help in the locality, went to the house of one Meena at Kholaipar, Shyampur to do the household chores. "When I went there, the guard of the house caught me forcibly and took me to the bathroom, tying my hands and mouth," the victim said. Guard Mohammad Ali, 20, held her all night and raped. The victim is undergoing treatment at Dhaka Medical College Hospital. Police arrested Ali, while filing of a case was on process at 8:30 last night.
