Jon Fredrik Baksaas, CEO of Telenor ASA, the majority shareholder of GP, formally handed over the awards to the clients at a function in Dhaka on Monday.

Corporate subscribers of any telecommunications company is a very core customer segment, said Baksaas at the function.

The Telenor CEO handed over crests to Abdur Raqib, executive president of Islami Bank Bangladesh Ltd, Shamsuddin Ahmed, managing director of Uttara Bank, and Rafiqul Islam, deputy managing director of Pubali Bank.

Speaking at the function, Ola Ree, managing director of GP, also identified the corporate clients as the most important segment of the customers.

Arve Johansen, CEO of Telenor Mobile, was also present at the function.
