Life in DU

I have just got admitted into DU. It is a dream of almost every student of Bangladesh to get himself/herself admitted into DU. The students who gets the chance are said to be the luckiest and the most meritorious. But the life these meritorious students lead after getting the entrance into DU is completely disappointing. Most of them like to waste their time in chatting in T.S.C rather than in concentrating in their study or library works. With a deep sorrow I am observing some brilliant fellow students' negligence in study. Because their is no strict discipline or teachers which or who will persuade us in study like our school or college.

Beside this, there are other factors. There is no control of DU authority over the students and as a result without any guidance some students have chosen smoking. And the political parties are always trying to collect more activists. Many of my classmates have been told that they will not get a seat in the residential hall until they work for a particular party.

The life of DU is enjoyable, it has freedom. But could absolute freedom bring any good to us?
