Milky, organising secretary of the Dhaka city (south) unit of Jubo League, was gunned down in the capital’s Gulshan area on July 30.

Of those accused primarily, Jahid Siddique Tarek was killed in a shootout with Rab a day after Milky was killed.

Cahanchal, Lopa, Arif, Khalil and Islam are absconding while the rest is now behind the bar.

Md Kajemur Rashid, assistant superintendent of police (ASP) of Rab-1 and also the investigating officer (IO) of the case, submitted the charge sheet before the Court of Chief Metropolitan Magistrate in Dhaka around 10:30am.

The ASP also dropped the names of nine Jubo League activists from the charge sheet saying that charges brought against them were not primarily proved.

Milky’s brother Major Rashedul Haque Khan filed the murder case with Gulshan Police Station on the day of murder.
