Rapid Action Battalion arrested a man with a huge amount of voice over internet protocol (VoIP) equipment in the capital's Mohammadpur last night.

The arrestee is Lincoln, 23, Assistant Superintendent of Police Qamrul Hassan, operation officer of Rab-4, told The Daily Star this morning.

Acting on a tip-off, Rab conducted a raid at a building at Baitul Aman Housing Society in Shekhertek area around 10:00pm yesterday and seized the equipment worth Tk 1 crore, the Rab official said.

Lincoln has been taken to Rab-4 office at Mirpur where a press briefing will be held later in the day.
